Another October is around the corner, Yay! This means that the dance club I am a member of is gearing up for another mind-blowing event! As always its going to be EPIC and in order to share the love we’ll be hosting you TWICE for TWO DAYS! Isn’t that exciting? In order to give the show a richer feel we ran auditions for external dancers, actors and musicians to work with us, so expect to see 110% entertainment! Awesome innit?
Yours truly hopes to make some of the dances for this show as well so please keep your fingers crossed while I struggle everyday with flips and front rolls and jumps. I hope it will all be worth it because we will be screened before the show.  Dancing is not really my forte but lately I have this deep desire to improve and be a better dancer.  Singing will always be my first love but in these days when its been soooo hard to convey my feelings through speech or music, maybe dancing will do the purging for me.
I am so honoured and proud, yet humbled to be part of this movement.  Below is what the show is all about and I encourage you to read and go out there and get your tickets! (www.afritickets.com)  Also follow @SODGC, @sod_tickets and @bluphoenixrebel on twitter for updates leading to the big event.  Also visit our website http://www.3dancingmen.com
Enjoy the press release below and let me know if you will attend or will follow our handles for short videos, pictures and more info. Cheers!

“A ruthless rebel leader, a fractured camp…stretched faith and a desperate need for redemption…”
From Segun Lawal, the Executive Producer of Celebrity Takes 2 and Bolanle Austen~Peters, the Executive Producer of Saro: The Musical comes the epic theatre production “The Butcher and the Bridge” Written and Directed by Uyi Omokaro. A Spirit of David Production
The Butcher and the Bridge is a spell binding tale about war, love and faith theatrically presented in unique, professional and anointed musical theatre. The story itself is fictional but inspired by several true tales woven into its dialogue from recent and global war narratives.
As a show, it is guaranteed to impartially address some of the most salient issues on war and terror being experienced in our world today in song and dance that will not only challenge but inspire us.
The Butcher and the Bridge is the tenth in the Spirit of David series of Independence Day shows that began in 1999. Each production deliberately explores the theme of FREEDOM and typically involves a large cast of dancers pulled from all over the country. This year it holds on the 3rd and 4th October, 2015 at the MUSON Center, Lagos.
Spirit of David is an indigenous dance company presenting fresh and creative dance pieces on an international stage to today’s dynamic audiences. At the heart of each presentation is a rich blend of cultural, universal and Life-changing themes which are uncompromising and artistic.
Since April 1997, what began in the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Nigeria with seven passionate people, has attracted over two thousand members worldwide. After eighty nine shows, two award-winning seasons of Celebrity Takes 2 (a dance-reality TV show), a 12-state road tour of Nigeria, a 10-country tour on two continents and over 3500 stage performances in forty cities of the world.
The show holds at the Shell Hall,  Muson centre on the 3rd and 4th. 3rd times are 3pm and 6pm prompt. 4th is 3pm with a command performance at 7pm.
